A realistic daily routine

• •Midday: a quick look at posture, breathing, and droppings.

Cleaning without stressing your pigs

Spot clean wet corners daily and do a full change once a week for most setups. Ammonia from stale urine irritates the respiratory tract and is a common trigger for the sneezing and eye discharge new owners notice.

Use unscented cleaners or a dilute white vinegar solution, rinse well, and let everything dry. Avoid scented sprays and never use pine or cedar shavings.
